WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2019
8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Wisconsin Community Media is inviting local municipal and school officials, PEG center staff and local community TV producers from cities, schools and non-profits to Legislative Day 2019.

This is the second time WCM is holding a Legislative Day to promote community-based media - Public, Education, and Government Access Channels - and to ask for greater legislative support.  After a brief morning program to prepare you for the day, attendees will meet with their senators and members of the assembly.

You’ll talk with your elected officials or staff about your PEG center and why a bill is needed to reform how community television is treated by video service providers.  You’ll leave them with materials about the bill and your media center and ask for their support.

Please encourage organizations and individuals who use your center to come with you!  This will not only impress legislators, but it will also help us with the Community TV promos we are creating on Legislative Day!!
