LPFM Radio Meeting

After introductions all around, attendees will share what is working for them, what they need help with and then talk about industry issues and next meetings.

1. Roundtable discussion of helpful tools. Is there a particular tool that you have found helpful at your LPFM?  Tell us about it! This could be a piece of equipment, software, web-based service, etc.  If viable, bring the tool along to demo and show us how you use it.  Does it creatively solve a problem? Make a regular task easy? Provide a workaround to save money?

2. Technical Challenges. Tell us about a technical challenge you are currently having or one that you recently resolved. We’ll help you brainstorm or give you kudos for your brilliant solution!

3. Legal Issues.  1) Recent doubling of Sound Exchange Fees.  2) FCC – 250 watt LPFM proposal.  3) Possible future LPFM application window.

4. Future LPFM Virtual Meetings: We had several good virtual LPFM group meetings last fall and early spring, but took a break from these over the summer.  Would the group like to resume these?  If so, how often and when?
