“When I heard you could work on dump trucks and cop cars and ambulances, I thought that was just so cool,” said Olivia Busalacchi, a Memorial High School senior who participates in the City of Madison Fleet Service Apprenticeship Program. Paul Schmidt, Digital Media Specialist with the City of Madison IT Media Team recently collaborated with the City Fleet Service to produce a two-minute promotional video about the program. Students work at the Fleet Service during school hours and earn a paycheck while they learn. The fast-paced piece was shot in the Fleet Service garage and shows Olivia training with fleet service personnel.
