De Pere TV covers announcement of $5 million in federal funding for regional bridge

Sen. Tammy Baldwin was in De Pere on April 14 to participate in a press conference to announce that $5 million in federal dollars has been secured for the South Bridge Regional Project, a major infrastructure project the region has needed for more than 60 years.  Justine Braun, Video Production Specialist, City of De Pere directed the press conference which has been airing on Time Warner Cable channel 4, AT&T’s channel 99 and online. Mayor James Boyd opened the press conference, praising Baldwin, “who has now helped obtain $5 million in Congressionally-directed spending from the fiscal 2022 omnibus bill for the southern bridge.  Senator Baldwin’s efforts will have enormous impact on the future of this region.”  Many Brown County area officials were featured at the event.
